BOSITKHANOVA ELMIRA ERKINOVNA (Basitkhanova Elmira Irkinovna)

Basitkhanova Elmira Erkinovna was born in 1958, November 10 in the family of an employee.

After finishing secondary school No. 157 of the city of Tashkent with a gold medal, she entered the Tashkent State Medical Institute (now the Medical Academy) and in 1981 graduated the institute with honors.

Work experience:

In 1981-2011, she worked (for 30 years) as an intern doctor, coordinating doctor, head of the department of anesthesiology and reanimation, and also worked as the head doctor of the Tashkent Clinical Emergency Hospital.

In 2011-2016, she headed the Committee of Women of Uzbekistan.

In 2017-2019, she held the position of Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

From 2004 to 2011, she was a deputy of the Tashkent City Council.

In 2019, Elmira Erkinovna was appointed as a member of the Senate by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

 Academic degree:

In 1998 she defended her thesis on "The Importance of Respiratory Therapy for Stroke".

In 2007 she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic: "Prevention of purulent complications of surgical operations in a multidisciplinary clinic" and received a doctorate in medical sciences.

Awards:

In 1998 she was awarded the “Honored Medical Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan” award.

In 2014 she was awarded the Order of “Mehnat Shukhrati”.

Family:

Married,has 4 children.

Contribution to reform:

In the early years of independence, Elmira Bosithanova made a significant contribution to the training of emergency medical services and national personnel in anesthesiology and intensive care. She also contributed to the reform on the direction of social protection of motherhood and childhood, preventing the birth of children with disabilities.

Elmira Erkinovna led the work, which was aimed at efforts to save the lives of patients through complex surgical operations.

During 2017-2018, she worked hard to implement reforms in providing medical and social support to needy families, to improve the lives of women living in remote areas, which were organized throughout the country.

In the purpose of creation healthy family environment, she introduced new methods of working with citizens, especially women, and solving their problems.

She took a leading role in addressing the problems of women in the rapprochement between government, government agencies, the public and ordinary people.

         Using popular, traditional methods Basitkhanova promoted national experience in the field of women's public policy and the idea of ​​the role of women in Uzbekistan in the international women's movement and gained international recognition for this efforts.

            As a statesman and public figure, Elmira Basithanova is distinguished by her initiatives to preserve the spiritual and educational values of the Uzbek nation, which make a worthy contribution to world’s civilization.

Makhkamova Zulaykho Bahriddinovna

Makhkamova Zulaykho Bahriddinovna was born in the Yangikurgan district of Namangan region. She graduated from Namangan State Pedagogical Institute in 1989 and from the Academy of State and Social Construction under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2005..

In 1989-1998, she worked as a teacher of a secondary school of Yangikurgan district of Namangan region as well as a Deputy Director of Educational Matters.

Later, she was appointed as

  • a Deputy Hakim for Social Family protection, Motherhood and Childhood of Yangikurgan region in 1998-2003;
  • a Director of Yangikurgan District Representative Office of the Farmers Association in 2003-2006;
  • a Director of the Center for Farming Services of the District;
  • a Deputy Mayor of Yangikurgan District - Chairman of the Women's Committee in 2006-2018,
  • the Chairman of the Namangan Regional Union of Trade Unions and Deputy Governor of the Namangan Region - Chairman of the Women's Committee.

Since May 2018, she has been working as first Deputy Chairman of the Women's Committee of Uzbekistan.

She manages the departments for enhancing social and political activity of women, promoting women employment and supporting entrepreneurship, and also manages departments working with registry offices.

She is married and has 2 children.

Marufova Gulnora Makhmudovna

Marufova Gulnora Makhmudovna, Uzbek, was born in Ferghana, Ferghana region.

In 1977, she graduated from the Ferghana State Pedagogical Institute. In 1977-1991, she worked as a teacher at a secondary school No. 10 in Ferghana, as a Deputy Director for Educational Matters, and as a Director; in 1991-1997, she was appointed as a Second Secretary of the Ferghana Regional Council of the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan; in 1997-2004, as a Deputy Governor of the Ferghana Region, concurrently, a Chairman of the Women's Committee. Since 2004, she has been Deputy Chairman of the Women's Committee of Uzbekistan.

She is married and has a child.

Born in Shakhrisabz, Kashkadarya region, she graduated from Tashkent State University with honors in 1980. From 1980 to 2018, she worked as a teacher, an associate professor, a professor, a Head of the department in higher educational institutions, and as a Chairman of the Olima Association in Tashkent. She is Doctor of Philosophy, Professor.

Since May 2018, she has been a Deputy Chairman of the Women's Committee of Uzbekistan.
