The main goal of the forum is to further develop mutual cooperation and exchange experience among the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on strengthening the institution of the family, strengthening the participation of women in public life and state administration, expanding their rights and opportunities.
The forum will discuss the following issues:

• Review of achievements and initiatives in the field of strengthening the institution of the family, ensuring the rights and interests of women in the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation;
•  familiarization and wide use of the advanced experience, practices and innovative approaches of the MEMBER STATES OF THE ISLAMIC COOPERATION ORGANIZATION in terms of supporting women, protecting their rights and interests;
•  development of proposals to increase the activity of women in all aspects of economic, political and social life;
•  to define prospective directions of mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas of gender policy;
•  to expand the participation of women in ensuring regional security, increasing the effectiveness of combating modern threats;
•  Making presentations about the wide-scale reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan to strengthen the institution of the family, to ensure the rights and interests of women.
• The forum is expected to achieve the following results:
•  New initiatives and proposals aimed at increasing the role and position of women in the sustainable development of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will be put forward;
• positive experiences will be exchanged in areas such as strengthening the institution of the family, strengthening the participation of women in public life and state administration, developing entrepreneurship, participation of non-governmental and non-profit organizations dealing with family and women's issues.
• suggestions and recommendations will be developed to protect the rights and interests of women, to strengthen the institution of the family.

Officials of the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Organization for the Development of Women, the United Nations Office and structures in Uzbekistan, as well as the heads of state bodies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation member states dealing with family and women's issues, representatives of the Government, civil society institutions and representatives of international organizations will be present at the forum.
